We have 3 purebred, pedigree Jack Russell (JR) pups for sale - 3 boys, born Friday, 29th July and ready to go to their forever homes from Friday, 23rd of September.

They are from the Arista line of New Zealand Jack Russell Terriers

Mum (Dam) - Arista JR Zeenie ("Zeenie") is a NZ Kennel Club Registered Pedigree rough coat with 22 NZ and AU Champions in her pedigree line.

Dad (Sire) – Arista JR Dudley ("Dudley") is a NZ Kennel Club Registered Pedigree rough coat too, with 24 NZ and AU Champions in his pedigree line.

Both parents are 10 ½" (26.5cm) to the shoulder. They are easy going and obedient; are outstanding house dogs and guards; they also have moments when they are full of fun and cheeky in character but are always truly loyal, loving personalities – typical of the breed.

The pups are starting to display their own individual characters and have already picked up positive habits from their mum. It appears that two of the pups will be rough coat (Long haired) with the third possibly a broken coat/towards a rough coat. Pups have tails intact, have been wormed every two weeks since 2 weeks old, and have had their 6 week vaccinations and full vet check; all 3 have strong, healthy reports.

We can already see that each of the pups will make an amazingly loyal companion, exactly like their parents. They will be just as happy indoors by your side as they will be outdoors freely sprinting around with the typical character trait of a JR - to sniff, hunt, dig, chase, fetch and find...

The JR is a full-on dog; they are extremely intelligent and need frequent mental challenges and exercise... like hiding a treat or a favourite toy for them to seek out - they love playing hide and seek, it has been bred into them, making them a deadly foe for rabbits, rats and mice.

A JR pup needs company most of the time, except those times when he'll be found fast asleep on your feet, dog dreaming of hunting and running (funny to watch). JR's are not the best breed of pup to be left home alone for long periods of time, if he is 'Home Alone' for too long, he will make his own fun and have a really great time finding something to hunt, dig and chew in your absence... such as your furniture, electric cables, floor/carpets, garden – well, just about anything is fair game!. JR's are at their best with either another canine or another human for company (for at least part of the day anyway).

They are such fun loving, energetic dogs and will give years of pleasure...all they ask in return is that you exercise, love and care for them. All enquiries will be answered, but only the best of homes will be considered. We are based in Hastings and viewing of the pups (and their Mother) is strongly encouraged.
